What is it?
There are two reasons why SEAT has brought an innocuous diesel Exeo back to a motor show: a continuously variable automatic transmission, and the mildest of interior and exterior tweaks.
Why's it here?
SEAT has redesigned the seats to liberate appreciably more interior space from the Exeo saloon and ST estate. It also gets LED rear lights. More significantly, there's now a Multitronic CVT transmission option, linked to the 141bhp 2.0-litre TDI engine. With it, the car's combined economy is 48.7mpg - better than the manual's, though it's not too steep a drop.
Show stopper or floor filler?
Come off it.
