Subaru has announced pricing details for the new Forester ahead of the model's showroom debut in the UK.
The pricing structure of the fourth generation Forester is almost the same as the outgoing model: starting at £24,995 for the entry-level 2.0D X version and rising to £30,995 for the top spec 2.0i XT.
Despite the similar prices, Subaru says that the new model features a larger cabin with a higher grade of materials and finish than the third generation; as well as improved performance, efficiency and safety.
Under the bonnet of the Forester you'll find Subaru's traditional 2.0-litre four-pot boxer unit in either petrol or diesel guises. Subaru's top-of-the-range 2.0i XT model has 240hp. This unit is connected to a CVT gearbox, an option that is available across the petrol engine range.
More information regarding trim and equipment levels is to be announced mid-April before the Forester hits showrooms in May.
