As the automotive world prepares to descend en masse on Las Vegas for the annual SEMA Show, Lexus has released further details of what visitors can prepare to see in Sin City.
Alongside the GS F Sport that was announced recently the luxury car manufacturer has also invited top customisers Five Axis, VIP Auto Salon and JT Grey Racing along to display the more extreme styling and performance potential of Lexus models.
Troy Sumitomo and the team at Five Axis were let loose on a GS F Sport and will display a wide-body version of the car finished in Glacier White paintwork. Riding on 20-inch alloy wheels the Five Axis F Sport also features a high-performance brake system, a custom made exhaust and an AirRunner TC-5 air suspension system.
The GS is positively tame compared to the CT 200h prepared by Five Axis though. Like the GS it too wears a wide-body conversion, uprated brakes and larger wheels (19-inches in this case) but the interior has also received an overhaul. The work, completed by Californian specialist Turinmodel, sees laser etched Ultrasuede inserts for the seats and the illuminated headlining.
Orange County based VIP Auto Salon has given its Lexus IS cabriolet the go to match its show with a Power Enterprise supercharger fitted under the carbon fibre bonnet, a high performance exhaust and Bilstein suspension. Sporting a green-purple 'chameleon' paint finish similar to TVRs of old it is sure to attract attention.
Not to be outdone, JT Grey Racing is bringing along its championship winning Lexus LX 570, or as we in the UK know it, the Land Cruiser V8. Sporting 17-inch F Sport wheels shod in massive 37-inch BF Goodrich tyre the LX 570 has taken on and won the demanding Baja 1000.
The SEMA Show kicks off on November 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
