Subaru is promising four new models over the next four years to boost sales, including the upcoming coupé shared with Toyota.
Called Motion-V, the plan from Subaru aims to boost global sales from 633,000 projected sales in 2011 to 900,000 in 2015. Many of these sales will come from the USA and China, but Subaru also hopes UK sales will improve from current levels.
Subaru has also stated that is wants to "become the world's leading brand in safety performance by providing all-around safety that comprises risk-avoidance technologies (active safety), systems in collision safety (passive safety), and pre-crash safety features."
These systems will include Subaru's "Eyesight" active driving assist that uses cameras to help the driver spot hazards. A hybrid-powered model will also join the Subaru range in 2013.
