What's the news?
Land Rover has given us a brief, filmic glimpse of the interior of its forthcoming Freelander replacement, the Discovery Sport, ahead of the car's full reveal in September.
The film shows off the Discovery Sport's '5+2' flexible seating arrangement, which will be standard equipment, and some of the main features, including a full panoramic glass sunroof.
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's design director and chief creative officer, said: "Versatility is a fundamental element of the Discovery family and with 5+2 seating, generous load space and configurable seating, the new Discovery Sport truly deserves to wear the Discovery badge."
Anything else?
The Disco Sport will be unveiled to the world on September 3. To find out more about the reveal, plus Land Rover and Virgin Galactic's developing partnership, go to www.landrover.co.uk.
