What's the news?
This September the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé arrives in the UK with the V8 S 63 AMG and V12 S 65 AMG models priced from £125,595. Early next year they will be joined by the S 500 Coupé AMG Line.
Standard equipment across the range includes a reversing camera, panoramic roof and Comand Online. Customers can also choose from nine standard metallic paint finishes.
On the £96,595 S 500 customers can add the Premium Package for £4,995. This adds 20-inch wheels and a variety of interior features including Keyless-Go, Burmester sound system, Air Balance (to filter and fragrance the air within) the car plus seats with heating and cooling.
Other packages include the AMG Exterior Carbon-fibre Package for £5,000 - dressing up the bodywork with carbon fibre elements. There is also the £765 AMG Night Package, which comprises black chrome finished exhaust tips and high-gloss black highlights. Customers can also specify Magic Sky Control to turn the panoramic roof opaque, a refrigerated compartment in the rear and red brake callipers for the S 63 AMG and S 65 AMG.
Anything else?
Mercedes claims the S-Class Coupé has the lowest wind noise of any production car thanks to the insulation and aerodynamic design of the body shell.
