What's the news?
Kia has added a new model to its 'Originals' line-up: the Picanto Quantum. The Originals range is described as a collection of models with distinct personalities that are changed at regular intervals, like a fashion collection. Prices start at £11,895 and cars are in Kia showrooms now.
Exterior
Available only in the three-door body the Quantum comes with 15-inch, round-spoke alloy wheels, body colour sill mouldings and an electric sunroof. The specification includes an 'Urban Pack' including rear parking sensors, a UV solar windscreen to reduce glare and privacy glass in the rear side windows and tailgate.
Interior
Also included in the Urban pack are LED ambient interior lighting and Supervision instrument cluster, which includes an on-board computer.
Mechanicals
Power comes from a 1.25-litre, 84hp petrol engine with the choice of manual or automatic gearboxes. With the manual transmission fuel economy and CO2 emissions are 62.8mpg and 106g/km respectively.
Anything else?
To keep running costs under control insurance is in group 12 and customers can add the Care-3 servicing package for £299.
