What's the news?
Kia has announced the special edition 'VR7' range - Picanto, Rio and cee'd models with extra equipment, discounts and special finance deals. Customers can also add Care-3, an all-inclusive servicing package that covers the first three dealer visits for £99.
Standard colours for the new editions are white, black, silver or red. All VR7 models come with air conditioning, Bluetooth, aux-in and USB slots, plus a leather trimmed steering wheel and gear lever. Other features depend on the vehicle.
Picanto VR7s are available in three-door, 69hp and five-door, 85hp versions. Prices start at £8,795 and the special editions can be identified by the black radiator grille and chrome door handles. On the inside there is 'premium black upholstery' and silver door handles.
The Rio VR7 models can be ordered with an 85hp petrol engine and three or five doors and a 75hp diesel in five-door form. Priced from £10,495 Kia says it offers a saving of £1,000. Reversing sensors, 15-inch alloy wheels and electrically adjustable heated door mirrors are standard on the VR7.
Customers can choose VR7 versions of the three-door pro_cee'd, cee'd five-door and cee'd Sportswagon (estate) with 1.4-litre petrol or diesel power. Available from £13,495, features include 16-inch alloys, black 'Abstract' cloth upholstery and a rear spoiler.
