Fiat's all-new five-door Panda will go on sale at the end of February with prices starting at £8,900 on-the-road for the 69hp 1.2-litre engine in Pop trim.

The Panda will also be available with the 85hp 900cc TwinAir petrol engine and a 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel that puts out 75hp, while three trim levels of Pop, Easy and Lounge will also be offered.

Standard equipment in the entry level Pop model includes electric windows, central locking, Dualdrive electric power steering, four airbags and body colour bumpers. ESP, roof rails and black pastel paint are all available from the options list.

Easy trim adds remote central locking, air conditioning, roof rails and a higher grade audio system, while Lounge additionally receives heated electric mirrors, 15-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, body-coloured mirrors and door handles and side mouldings.
With personalisation the name of the game in the competitive city car segment the Panda comes with a choice of 10 exterior colours and six interior/dashboard combinations meaning owners are free to create their own special Panda.

A new Low Speed Collision Mitigation system, which automatically brakes at speeds of less than 18.6mph (30km/h) if it detects an imminent collision, will also be offered for the first time in a Panda.
