The Brussels Motor Show may not carry the cachet of Geneva or Paris, but that hasn't stopped Peugeot using the event to showcase its facelifted 107 city car. Outside you'll find a new face (allegedly taking its design direction from the stunning SR1 concept), which for the first time houses LED daytime running lights. A redesigned front bumper also boasts new fog lamps and a deeper grille panel to complete the look.

The changes aren't only skin deep though - the 107 is also more economical and efficient. At 99g/km of CO2 buyers benefit from free annual road tax in the UK, while the combined economy of 66mpg means visits to the pumps will be less frequent as well.

Inside, the cabin features some choice upgrades, while equipment levels have been boosted further. Active models now benefit from standard air conditioning, while Allure models add alloy wheels, a rev counter and Peugeot's Connect Bluetooth and USB system.

For those over 25 years old the baby Peugeot can also be had on the firm's Just Add Fuel program, which covers insurance, warranty, servicing and breakdown assistance for fixed monthly payments. Available from February in both three- and five-door forms, prices start at £7,995 for the Access models.
