Mitsubishi has announced the arrival of the special edition Shogun Black with unique trim and extra equipment as an addition to the range.

The Black edition comes with a satin black body kit. The same colour is used on the 20-inch alloy wheels, grille and mirrors. Five body colours are offered: Frost White, Cool Silver, Orient Red and Granite Brown metallic colours; and Diamond Black pearlescent.

Based on the Shogun 3.2 Di-D LWB SG4 the Black comes with an engine that develops 197bhp and 325lb.ft. CO₂ emissions are 224g/km, which Mitsubishi claims is 'best-in-class'.

Standard equipment is identical to the SG4 and includes leather upholstery, satellite navigation and a reversing camera.

The Mitsubishi Shogun Black is on sale now for £41,999 with metallic paint at extra cost.
