Lotus will unveil the Evora GTE Road Car Concept at the McCall's Motorworks Revival event on Wednesday 17 August. It's based on the Evora GTE car set to compete in next year's Le Mans, among other things.
That means it gets a 420bhp engine, a sequential AMT racing gearbox, ultra light forged alloys and sticky-icky-icky Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tyres. No word on how fast it is as yet.
Lotus calls it "a very serious road car" and by the looks of things, it's ready for production. Fingers crossed.
Meanwhile, the Norfolk-based manufacturer has created a run out version of the Exige, called the Matte Black Final Edition. It gets a power upgrade to 257bhp and, not surprisingly, a matte black paintjob. Only 25 will be built and, sadly, all for the North American market.
