The 987bhp Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is the most powerful open-top car in the world and a limited edition version has been unveiled at the Auto Shanghai motor show.

Finished in matt white paint, the limited run Veyron also has a matt white air intake. Blue-painted carbon fibre elements in the lower portions of the Bugatti contrast with the white paint, while blue-painted wheels finish off the exterior.

Inside, this Veyron comes with blue leather and white stitching, with blue leather also used on the steering wheel and gear lever gaiter. Aluminium trim for the centre console finishes off the bespoke cabin, though customers can further tailor the interior to their tastes.

As the fastest convertible in the world, the Veyron Grand Sport has a top speed of 254mph, though it can only be driven up to 100mph with the soft-top in place. For maximum speed, the polycarbonate roof must be fitted.

Bugatti also has another limited edition for the Shanghai show with a Veyron coupé finished entirely in black carbon fibre. The wave of the carbon is visible on the bodywork, while inside there's a two-tone beige and black colour scheme, with more carbon fibre inserts in the doors and centre console.

The limited edition Veyron coupé comes with the full house 1,183bhp Super Sport engine. Top speed is electronically limited to 259mph.

Porcelain Bugatti
Delicate is not a word we'd attach to the Bugatti Veyron, but the L'Or Blanc model uses porcelain in its build.
