Infiniti has announced a series of revisions for its G line models. The Saloon, Coupé and Convertible models get standard automatic transmission, new colour options and a simplified range structure.
The 317bhp, 3.7-litre V6 engine is unchanged but now drives through a seven-speed automatic gearbox as standard. This transmission is fitted across the range and features steering wheel mounted paddles for manual control.
All models get a choice of new body colours, including Malbec Black, which was first seen on the Infiniti M saloon. Coupé and Convertible versions get new alloy wheel designs and the Coupé S features a standard rear spoiler.
The G Saloon is offered in four versions, starting with the G37 for £33,508. Two GT models with four-wheel drive are offered; these come with leather trim while the GT Premium model adds Intelligent Cruise Control and 'Connectiviti+' navigation and entertainment systems. Top model is the G37 S Premium with 4-Wheel Active Steer and sports suspension.
Starting point for the G Coupé range is the £36,319 GT with 18-inch alloy wheels. Next is the S Coupé with four-wheel steering, sports suspension, limited slip differential and enhanced brakes, as well as 19-inch wheels. Most expensive is the G37 S Premium Coupé for £41,395; along with the features of the S model its specification includes the Connectiviti+ package.
The Infiniti G37 GT Premium Convertible is now the only version of the folding hard top G and costs £45,185. A unique option for the Convertible is Monaco red leather upholstery and red-stained Maple Wood trim for £890.
Infiniti's revised G range is on sale across Europe now.
