Suzuki will reveal a Swift-based concept car at the
81st Geneva Motor Show on March 1, along with the 2011 Suzuki Splash.
The Swift S-Concept is based on the new Swift - launched last autumn. The teaser image shows wider wheel arches and a new roof spoiler, hinting at a performance model. Suzuki describes the theme for the show car as 'more sporty and exciting'.
Also due to debut at the show is the 2011 model year Splash. Now available with the 93bhp, dual-VVT 1.2-litre engine from the Swift, the Suzuki Splash promises 55.4mpg and 119g/km CO
2 emissions. Bringing the model in line with the rest of the Suzuki range, the grade structure adopts the 'SZ' prefix. Prices start at £9,495 for the 1.0-litre SZ3.
The updated Suzuki Splash goes on sale in March. Look out for more details of the Swift S-Concept on our
Geneva Motor Show page from March 1.
