As well as having five performance machines on
its Lexus stand, Toyota has rocked up to the Tokyo Auto Salon with a trio of sporty hatchbacks.
The GRMN iQ Racing Concept, a collaboration between Gazoo Racing and tuner MN, might look like your typical iQ makeover (well, Aston Martin Cygnet aside), but it's actually a proper high performance thing.
No power figure has been released, but its 1.33-litre engine is supercharged. Gazoo has history with the iQ too: its last limited edition performance version sold out instantly in 2009.
The Toyota Prius G Sport Concept is another project from the aesthetes at Gazoo, though it doesn't get a power boost over the standard car.
And lastly there's the TRD (Toyota Racing Development) Auris GT Concept, perhaps the most visually arresting Auris ever made. No word on power for that, but we're guessing there are no fancy upgrades, otherwise Toyota would have said in the press release. Boo.
