Prices for the facelifted Renault Laguna, which was launched at the
Paris Motor Show a few weeks ago, have been announced. The range has been simplified and some models now cost less with prices starting at £17,795.
There are three 'core models' in the Laguna line-up. The entry-level Expression comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps and single CD/radio stereo with Bluetooth.
Mid-range Dynamique TomTom versions, available from £19,645, feature the latest version of Renault's Carminat TomTom navigation system. This incorporates real-time traffic updates, weather information and local search by Google. The service is free for the first three months and then requires an annual subscription.
At the top of the range is the GT Line TomTom. This features a ten-speaker BOSE sound system, 18-inch dark alloy wheels and seats finished in leather and Alcantara. The dCi 180 version also comes with '4Control' four-wheel steering and costs £23,045.
Renault claims improved economy for the entire range. The 2.0-litre dCi 180 diesel combined cycle figure is 49.5mpg compared with 45.6mpg for its predecessor. The 1.5-litre dCi 110 model now manages 60.1mpg.
Updated Lagunas are available to order now and will arrive in dealers by November.
