This latest version of the Mitsubishi Lancer is called the Juro and it promises high specification including cruise control and air conditioning, as well as front, side, curtain and knee airbags for a starting price of £14,999.
The Juro hatchback also features a rear reversing camera, leather seats and a Kenwood multimedia system. This comprises of Garmin satellite navigation, Parrott Bluetooth and iPod connection.
The Lancer is equipped with a 2.0-litre DI-D turbodiesel engine, with 163g/km CO2 emissions. This entitles the Lancer to Band G tax costing £155 per year. It slots into insurance group 21E, while the Mitsubishi Service Plan costs £315.
The new models are available in a variety of metallic colours and also in non-metallic frost white.
