Bentley has given the world a glimpse of its restyled Continental GT in a short video released on the internet. The Continental GT - along with a raft of special editions - has been around since 2003. The facelifted model will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show in September. The luxury car maker has set up a micro site that includes a brief teaser video to give a sneak preview.
Revisions to the exterior of the 2+2 coupé are limited to a revised front end, air dam and a set of LED headlamps like the Mulsanne's. These are complemented by a more sloping rear window and reworked taillights.
Discreet changes to the GT's interior can be expected along with a few more horses from the twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine. An overhauled gearbox is expected too. Full details should be revealed closer to the Paris Motor Show this September, but until then, here's the video:
17 May: Ford owners with cars using the 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine can now get up to 34 extra horsepower from Superchips. The remap costs £445 including VAT and is covered by a 12-month, 30,000-mile warranty.
16 May: The Porsche Museum is participating in the Mille Miglia recreation from 17-20 May. A 550 Spyder, three 356 Speedsters and a 356 Coupé will tackle the course that runs from Brescia to Rome.
16 May: Four Toyota GT86s and one Lexus LFA will compete in the Nürburgring 24 Hours race this weekend. Gazoo Racing will campaign the LFA and two GT86s, painted in black, white and red. The team has already had two class wins at the circuit with the Lexus. [photo]
