Here we have the most expensive Renaultsport Clio since the V6. Sadly this one doesn't have an engine where the rear seats used to be, and nor is it ten feet wide.
Nope, the Gordini 200, which costs £19,650, is a limited edition Renaultsport Clio with a fancy body kit and a load of equipment thrown in.
A Malta Blue paintjob with white racing stripes is standard, but if you don't fancy that you can have it in Michael Jackson spec: doesn't matter if it's black or white. An F1-style 'blade splitter' is incorporated into the grille as well, and it gets a set of 17-inch Gordini alloys.
The cabin is awash with blue trim, including the steering wheel and gear lever gate cover, while gloss black surrounds the air conditioning controls and stereo.
Standard equipment includes climate control, Bluetooth, cruise control, heated door mirrors and cornering lights.
The Sport chassis is stock, though for £410 the Cup chassis is available too, which adds stiffer springs and dampers, lowers the ride height, sharpens the steering and paints the brake callipers red.
The order book is open now for one of the 500 UK-bound Gordinis. Each gets its build number on a plaque in the cabin.
