Citroën has announced that the C5 range will receive revisions to its 1.6-litre HDi 108bhp engine. These improvements mean improved fuel economy, lower CO2 emissions and exemption from the new first year VED tax.
Fuel economy is up six percent to 56.5mpg and CO2 emissions have fallen by 10g/km, from 140- to 130g/km. Company car drivers can also benefit, as the changes have reduced the BIK taxation rate by one point, now down to 18 percent.
