Brabus, best known for its Mercedes-Benz based lunacy, unveiled its new E V12 Coupé at the Geneva Motor Show sporting incredible figures of 789bhp and 1,047lb.ft of torque. The E-Class Coupé-based E V12 can accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 217mph - though Brabus claims it'd hit 230mph if it were not for an electronic limiter.

Brabus has fiddled with the original Mercedes V12, increasing capacity from 5.5- to 6.3-litres while developing a bespoke twin-turbocharging system and strengthening the internals. The coupé is also fitted with a limited slip differential and comes as standard with a five-speed automatic gearbox.

The interior features carbon fibre trim around the dashboard, centre console and doors along with leather sport seats. The suspension has been significantly altered, with a wider track and adjustability to allow some track use. Brabus has also included twelve-piston brakes at the front and six-piston at the rear.

Changes to the exterior of the original E-Class Coupé are also apparent. Highlights of the carbon fibre body kit include a rear diffuser and quad exhausts.

The price for the Brabus E V12 Coupé is €478,000 in Germany, which is significantly more than £400,000 in the UK.
