The Survolt is similar in looks and approach to the 'GT by Citroen' concept, only smaller. Citroen is also mooting the idea of a one-model race series with the Survolt.
Why's it here?
Other than Citroen turning out exceptional concepts at every major show at the moment? Well, it shows the development Citroen is making with compacting more electric power and batteries into a smaller car. The Survolt also shows off Citroen's idea of placing batteries all around the car - rather than in one spot - to get the best weight distribution.
Show stopper or floor filler?
Show stopper, no doubt, and the Survolt doesn't even need the vivacious stand ladies. It's wonderful, wacky and not so far from reality; the Survolt is everything a show concept should be. With a 200kW electric motor, it should also be quick. So, come on Citroen, build the Survolt for some racing.
