The SEAT Ibiza FR is now available with a 2.0-litre turbodiesel to supplement the 1.4-litre, 148bhp petrol version.
The new engine is a 141bhp turbodiesel with 'state of the art' technology to meet the Euro 5 emissions regulations. SEAT claims that the three-door Ibiza FR TDI will accelerate from 0-62mph in 8.2 seconds and go on to reach 130mph. The official combined cycle economy figure is 62.7mpg and CO2 emissions are 119g/km.
The low emissions and option of a five-door body should attract company car buyers looking for something with sporty looks and low tax liability. As well as the FR styling the Ibiza comes with climate control and ESP incorporating the XDS 'virtual limited-slip differential' as standard.
The Ibiza FR TDI costs from £16,465 and is available to order now with the first cars arriving in March.
