Momentum keeps growing for Chevrolet in Europe and the Paris motor show underlines the brand's confidence. The
Orlando MPV/SUV mash-up looks like a great family machine and the
Cruze saloon holds promise, while
the Volt could just represent the future of motoring. An electric car with an on-board petrol/ethanol engine acting as a generator, the Volt solves the problem of range by producing its own energy if it's needed. For shorter, typical commuting distances it'll run exclusively on electricity and can be plugged into the mains for a recharge. Although touted as a production car, don't expect to see the Volt here for a couple of years.
