| Preview | Frankfurt Motor Show | Suzuki line-up |
Suzuki, a maker of small cars and compact off-roaders, right? Well, the Japanese company has plans to change all that and the
Frankfurt Show will host a preview to Suzuki's new future in the form of the Concept Kizashi.
Meaning 'prelude' or 'foretaste' in Japanese, the concept is reportedly about the size of a Ford Mondeo, representing a market segment Suzuki intends to challenge. This designer sketch is all we've been given so far, but the Kizashi certainly looks to have presence thanks to a massive front grille and elongated headlights utilising LED technology. There may even be gull-wing doors, though we'll have to wait until we see the car in the metal next month to know for sure.
Also making its debut on the Suzuki stand will be the new Splash (a city car developed in co-operation with Opel/Vauxhall) and the SX4 WRC car, ready to make its competitive debut in October.
Keep an eye on our
Frankfurt Show page for further news.
