The refreshed Mercedes-AMG C 63 range has gone on sale in Britain. The highlight of the update is a new transmission, mated to AMG's 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. As before, two versions will be available, the non-S and the S, putting out 476hp and 510hp respectively. There will, of course, be a choice of four body styles - saloon, estate, coupe or cabriolet - and the fastest in the range, the C 63 S Coupe manages 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds. There's a vast array of luxury and performance tech inside as standard and prices start from £66,429 for a non-S C 63 saloon, climbing to £81,506 for the C 63 S Cabriolet minus optional packages and extras such as AMG's £4,285 ceramic braking system. Deliveries begin in October.
