What's this then?
This is that colossal tower of power, the BMW M6 and M6 Gran Coupé, both of which have been on the receiving end of the same updates as the rest of the more plebeian (ahem) 6 Series range. So, there are new kidney grilles, new bumpers and air dams and the option of full LED lights. The M6 versions of course keep their chunkier body kits, plus the carbon-fibre roof (unless you've gone for the Convertible) and quad-exhaust pipes.
Any mechanical changes?
Minor tweaking, which is what you can get away with if you've already got BMW's glorious 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. It has the same 560hp and 680Nm of torque as before, but the optional Competition Pack bumps that up to a more 'exciting' 575hp. Woof.
Nice, what about the interior?
There are some new interior trim options and some updates to the display screens and dials, plus the new integrated GoPro app that can connect to one of those little indestructible cameras and allow you to film your hot laps on a track day. Or just the drive to your local non-specific supermarket. The updated Heads Up Display also now includes change-up lights when you're using the manual function of the M-DCT twin-clutch gearbox.
