Snippet: 20,000 Lotus Elises in the world, so far - 2004 Lotus Elise
The 20,000th Elise rolled out of the Lotus factory this week making it the most popular car in the company's history. When you take into consideration the fact that Lotus has only ever produced about 70,000 cars it makes the achievement all the more impressive. The current Elise is sold in 40 countries, with demand as strong as ever. Having tested a number of Elises ourselves, we know just why it has been such a success. Long may it continue.

Review: Our kind of Lotus position - 2004 Lotus Exige (track drive)
Writing about cars does allow access to a wide variety of machinery, but days such as this bright October Thursday remind me why I love doing it. Today, Jenkins and I drive the 90 or so miles to Hethel in Norfolk to collect the latest Lotus creation - the Exige S2.

Snippet: Autodelta plan new models for 2005 - 2005 Alfa Romeo 159 Autodelta (preview)
Alfa Romeo tuner/coachbuilder Autodelta has released two teaser images of its plans for 2005. The car pictured is the Autodelta interpretation of Alfa Romeo's imminent 156 replacement (the 159 presumably), and draws its outrageous styling influences from '80s Alfa 75 racecars. The Autodelta 147 will place emphasis on sophistication rather than aggression, but will still pack a large V6 punch. Full details will be available at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show.

Review: 2004 Honda Stream review - 2004 Honda Stream (2.0i SE Sport manual)
All MPVs are for the driver nowadays it seems. It is not acceptable to just be big or versatile or even safe; the people carrier must also be fun to drive. Illustrating this point is the launch of several new models this year, all touting a sporty side to go along with the versatility and space, or so the marketing men would have you think.
